Why goto the Big Chill  ?

I don’t think there are many people who would say that a festival is the place to chill out. Fun, they may be, but not much time to relax in between the constant gig going, socialising, and continuous entertainment.

The Big Chill, although offering all of the above, certainly lives up to its name. Set amid the peaceful and picturesque hills of Eastnor, The Big Chill definitely serves its purpose. But don’t fooled by the rolling countryside and laid back atmosphere; there is still plenty of potential to party – hard.

Combining art, comedy, dance and film, The Big Chill festival brings an alluring uniqueness into its festivities. The atmosphere, although buzzing, is a great place to soak up the summer rays while enjoying a whole spectrum of varied entertainment.

This year’s Big Chill will see the likes of The Mighty Boosh bringing some comedy genius, alongside Russell Howard and Bill Bailey, plus a diverse range of musicians, ranging between Folk singer, Martha Wainwright, and astounding DJ Mr Scruff.

Big Chill  Festival Travel Directions and Travel Information

By Train:

Train travel is via Great Malvern station. A free shuttle bus will operate between the station and the festival site.

People cycling to The Big Chill  will have access to free, secure storage. National Express will run a coach service. This must be booked ahead.

Coaches are operating a shuttle service between Great Malvern (station) to the festival. They run every twenty-minutes and will be free.
V Festival Camping

Live -in Vehicles such as caravans and campervans are allowed on the site at a cost of £40 (regular sized vehicle) or £80 for a large one. This must be booked in advance.

You can hire a tent or a Tipi and there will be a quiet camping area available to those who want it.

All campsites will have showers with hot water.

Trailer tents should be delivered to site on Wednesday following prior arrangement with the Big Chill .
